Study on high strength and toughness heterogeneous titanium alloy

The inversion of strength and toughness of titanium alloy severely restricts its further development and wide application. Heterogeneous titanium alloy materials can improve the strength and plasticity of conventional titanium alloy materials at the same time, which is an important research and development direction for obtaining high strength and toughness titanium alloy. The microstructure, mechanical behavior and strengthening and toughening mechanism of heterogeneous titanium alloys were summarized and analyzed. In view of the current research status and shortcomings of heterogeneous titanium alloys in the above aspects, the future development trend and direction are prospected.
